Mike Sengelow

Workshop leader Mike Sengelow has been a jobbing actor based in London for the past 15 years. Prior to this he trained at Arts Educational, London and starred in the sketch comedy TV show ‘Skitz’ in his native New Zealand. His major credits in the UK include many plays at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond including the world premiere of Vaclav Havel’s Leaving, extensive radio work at the BBC including ‘The Archers’ and ‘Number Ten’ alongside Damian Lewis. Last year he combined his football and acting skills to star in the core cast of the British comedy feature ‘Magnificent Eleven’ alongside Keith Allen and Robert Vaughan. Mike is also the face of many TV commercial campaigns in both the UK and Europe. Alongside all of this, Mike has supported a young family through corporate acting. He has worked extensively for roleplay training companies such as Interact, Performance Biz, Silvercube, Nick Gasson Associates and Strudel where he has helped deliver a wide range of programs such as management performance, assessment centres and customer service training for scores of different clients ranging from blue-chip multinationals to national medical organisations, pharmaceutical companies and local councils. This sort of work has seen him travel throughout the UK and Europe to help specialist training companies deliver high level programs and Mike’s ability as a trainer/facilitator has also seen him solely devise and lead sessions in Web-Video Presentation for R-Solutions and Communications Days for IT Leaders.
